William & Kate's Royal Wedding

What a fairy-tale. Waking up at 5:00am to watch the Royal Wedding was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am so glad to have experienced it. With my Mum, we sipped tea as we watched (on numerous tv stations) the entire wedding procession. I even guessed the colour of the Queen's dress/hat (I said yellow, Mum said pink). I hear they were betting on what colour it would be at some race-tracks in the South! I have to say, that my favourite part of the wedding, besides seeing Kate's dress for the first time, was checking out all the crazy and beautiful hats and fascinators that the wedding guests wore. I am in love with these hats! Every one of them is so unique, and so colourful. Posh and Becks looked fantastic, and I adored the hat worn by Zara Phillips.

Wasn't it beautiful to watch William and Harry walk together from the car, into Westminster Abbey? Or when Kate and Wills said their vows? The 20 foot trees inside the abbey were a unique touch, and something country-wedding-esque to offset the pomp and circumstance of the occasion. Perhaps they were a nod back to her upbringing in Bucklebury?

Did you watch the wedding? What did you think? Any fashion hits or misses? I love weddings, and am so excited to be attending one tomorrow for a close friend!

I was able to catch the first appearance of the married couple on the balcony once I got to work. So dreamy.

Love how pretty she looked, not overdone, just natural. Perfection!

I listened to the wedding on the radio driving down through the north of England from the Scottish border. Listening to it while driving through the beauty of the Lake District was amazing. A day I will remember forever.

I was so touched by every moment of it. Her dress was gorgeous and she's, of course, a very elegant lady.

However, I wasn't so fond of some hats, such as the one Princess Beatrice wore. It was just ridiculous, in my opinion.
